Recently, we had a visit from the firefighters. They spoke to us about all the equipment on the fire engine, told us how many sets of ladders they have, what to do if there was a fire, what to do if we caught fire (stop, drop and roll) and the importance of having a smoke alarm in our homes. They also told us what jobs they do other than putting out fires. We then got to go in the fire engine.

Meet up sessions for the newcomers at Leen Mills starting in September :)

During World Book Day, we had the author Chris White visit school and each class took part in a workshop. We designed our own pets and wrote a poem about them! :)

Year 5s have been learning about the recovery position in PSHE! A very important skill to learn.

A fantastic Enterprise week! Every year group or class designs, makes and sells a product whilst working on skills such as teamwork, perseverance, budgeting, making profits and entrepreneurial skills. The children thrive during this week and have lots of fun! Thank you to all the parents for your support.
