A fantastic 2 night residential to PGL Caythorpe for the Year 5 pupils. The children participated in abseiling, archery, archery tag, problem solving, sensory trails, giant swing, zip lining, raft building, balloon splash and quizzes! A fantastic, full on experience where we didn't stop! The children pushed and challenged themselves, worked as a team and learned lots of new skills. What a brilliant 3 days.

A fantastic time at the Art Explora Mobile Museum today. We got to see and discuss different artist‘s work and create own our piece of artwork. The children were fantastic and answered lots of questions, particularly around Andy Warhol 🎨

World Book Day at Leen Mills! A fantastic effort by everybody involved.

Well done to the Year 5 team who won their game 3-2 this afternoon. This was the quarter finals so we are now through to the semi finals! 3 great goals from Brady and a special mention to Goalkeeper Toby who absolutely smashed it even though he doesn't play in goal. What a fantastic team effort, everyone involved did brilliantly! :)

Each class will be given the opportunity to go the the library this week, share stories and even get books out! The Year 5 classes had a fantastic time this afternoon 🤩📘

A huge congratulations to our swimmers who took part in the Gala yesterday. They showed teamwork, commitment and made the school very proud :)

We have been very lucky today at school as we’ve had an Author visit! Grandad Wheels (Brian Abram) visited Leen Mills Primary - Hucknall. We heard all about the tales of Grandad Wheels and Charlie and asked lots of questions too. The children were asked to design their own wacky wheelchairs - the children we’re very creative! Check out our designs in the pictures. 🤩📘 A big thank you to Mrs Burrows-Smith for organising today.
